The Aston Martin is the English alternative to the Bugati and Ferrari. The company was founded in 1913 by mechanical engineer Robert Bamford and wealthy Lionel Martin. The two had met in 1905 as members of a cycling club and progressed during the Edwardian era to classic trials and hill climbs. From its beginnings to the present day, this book traces the history of the company as well as the infamous cars.
History of Aston Martin Dawn Martin eBook
I gave this 3 Stars for two reasons: 1) The Kindle version has numerous errors with regards to layout and syntax 2) The history of the company was very thin. The overall histroy of the cars was just enough to be interesting but not overbearing with detailed minutiae that would loose casual enthusiasts but the history of the company was more of an outline giving only marginial context to the evolution of Aston Martin's cars. That said I did enjoy the book and I figure that as time goes on and e-reader technology improves these glitches will be resolved and if Aston Martin really values its heritage than there will eventually be a revised edition perhaps with more contextual information really giving the reader a better understanding of the company's dynamic history.
If you like Aston Martin cars, want to know more about them and the company then you should absolutely pick up this book!

History of Aston Martin Dawn Martin eBook Reviews
An. Ok but not great book about Aston Martin. The weakest point being an overly brief and sketchy history involving the 20's.& 30's and racing activities.
Book was good, but seemed to flash over the latter part of the history. Could also use a spellcheck and I don't mean between UK and American English.
Really tiny bad pictures, almost nothing (having one the most beautiful car, they could include nice picturess, interiors, comparations). Good information about the brand, history and cars
too little on the formative & early years , too much emphasis on the recent years . The Jaguar book was better !
